Why Clarence

Why lawyers take a private office at Clarence in Melbourne.

A short walk to the courts

456 Lonsdale Street sits in the William Street legal precinct, so a listing at the Supreme, County or Federal Court is a walk rather than a cab. 385 Bourke Street is a few blocks east, in the middle of the CBD.

Reception that greets your clients

A staffed reception on your floor welcomes your clients, takes your mail to your desk each day and can answer your phone in your firm’s name. You walk into a working office on day one.

Legal support in the building

Clarence Legal Services works within the Clarence network, with paralegals for conveyancing, probate and back-office work. You use them by the matter and bill the time to your client.

Six addresses, one membership

Your Melbourne office comes with five days a month in a private office at any other Clarence building, so a Sydney or Brisbane matter has a base too.

“I started as a virtual office, coming in once or twice a week. Then I started getting more and more clients and needing more and more meeting rooms. So I upgraded. I was with Clarence about nine months before I moved into an office.”
